Green Bean Casserole may have popped onto the holiday entertaining scene decades ago for its convenience, but this easy and inexpensive dish has since earned itself a place on most holiday menus. This classic side dish is easy to throw together ahead of time and pop into the grill to bake before serving — no oven necessary.

Ingredients

  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 3 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 6 cans green beans
  • 1 container crispy fried onions

Special Tools

  • Oven-safe casserole dish

Directions

  1. Preheat your Pit Boss grill or smoker to 300°F
  1. In a large bowl, mix the chicken soup, mushroom soup, and green beans together.
  1. Then place the mixture in an oven-safe casserole dish and cover with film and foil.
  1. Place the dish on the top rack of your grill and bake for 45 minutes.
  1. After 45 minutes, remove your casserole from the grill and rest for 10 minutes covered.
  1. Finally, uncover your casserole and top with fried onions.
  1. Enjoy with friends and family!
