Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. Leftover Turkey
  • 3 Slices of white bread
  • 1/3 cup of Cranberry Sauce (leftover)
  • 1/2 cup Stuffing (optional)
  • 1 cup Gravy
  • 1 Tablespoon Butter

Directions

  1. Turn the griddle on and set to medium-high heat.
  1. Once the griddle reaches the desired temperature, butter the griddle surface.
  1. Then, toss 3 slices of bread and the leftover turkey onto the griddle.
  1. Once the bread is toasted and the turkey has been heated through, remove from the griddle, and set aside to rest.
  1. Next, fill a medium bowl with leftover gravy, and submerge one slice of toasted bread. Soak the bread in the leftover gravy until slightly soggy (This will be the “moist maker” for the center of the sandwich).
  1. Finally, build the sandwich: place a slice of toasted bread onto a plate or cutting board, then add turkey, cranberry sauce, the “moist maker”, more turkey, and more cranberry sauce. Finally, top it off with the remaining slice of toasted bread.
  1. Slice and enjoy!
