Bringing people together with BBQ is truly magical, especially when it's paired with an ice-cold Coca-Cola. In this recipe, racks of pork ribs are marinated for 24 hours, then seasoned with Pit Boss Maple Chipotle, and smoked on the Pit Boss.

Ingredients

  • 12 Cans of Coca-Cola (12 oz)
  • 3 Cups Soy Sauce
  • 3 Cups Worcestershire
  • 3/4 Cup Liquid Smoke
  • 2 Tbsp Granulated Onion
  • 2 Tbsp Granulated Garlic

Special Tools

Directions

  1. Mix together the Coca-Cola, soy sauce, Worcestershire, Liquid Smoke, granulated onion, and granulated garlic in a large container to create a marinade.
  1. Place the pork ribs in the marinade and allow to sit for at least 8 hours. We recommend marinating for 24 hours for the best results.
  1. Remove the ribs from the marinade and allow to air dry before seasoning. Once the ribs are dry, season with Pit Boss Maple Chipotle and raw sugar on all sides.
  1. Preheat your Pit Boss smoker to 275-300°F, then place the ribs directly on the grill grates and smoke for 1 hour.
  1. After an hour of cooking, baste with melted butter and cook for another hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  1. Remove the ribs from the smoker and place them into an aluminum foil pan. Baste with butter, then add one can of Coca-Cola to the pan. Cover the pan with foil and place it back onto the smoker for 1 1/2 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 195°F.
  1. Remove the ribs from the pan and place them back onto the smoker for about 20 mins to create a bark.
  1. Remove from the smoker one final time, allow to rest, slice, and enjoy!
