Have Thanksgiving leftovers? You came to the right place. This Leftover Turkey Sandwich, complete with a “Moist Maker” is easy to throw together, and perfect for enjoying with friends (IYKYK).
Once the griddle reaches the desired temperature, butter the griddle surface.
Then, toss 3 slices of bread and the leftover turkey onto the griddle.
Once the bread is toasted and the turkey has been heated through, remove from the griddle, and set aside to rest.
Next, fill a medium bowl with leftover gravy, and submerge one slice of toasted bread. Soak the bread in the leftover gravy until slightly soggy (This will be the “moist maker” for the center of the sandwich).
Finally, build the sandwich: place a slice of toasted bread onto a plate or cutting board, then add turkey, cranberry sauce, the “moist maker”, more turkey, and more cranberry sauce. Finally, top it off with the remaining slice of toasted bread.
