You've heard of a shareable sub, but we're taking it to the next level with this Shareable Party Burger! Piled high with quarter pound burger patties and all the toppings, this recipe is perfect for parties and game days, or for anytime you need to feed a hungry crowd. Plus, it's fully customizable, so you can layer on all your favorite toppings and make it your own.

Ingredients

  • 12 1/4 lb. burger patties
  • 12 slices of your favorite cheese
  • 2 Italian loaves, split
  • 3 cups shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 1/4 onion, shaved or sliced thinly
  • Dill pickles, sliced
  • 3 Roma tomatoes, sliced
  • Ketchup

Directions

  1. Preheat your Pit Boss gas griddle to medium-high heat.
  1. Season your burger patties with your favorite rub. We used Pit Boss GSP rub.
  1. Begin by placing the burger patties onto the hot griddle, and allow them to sear for 4 to 5 minutes on each side.
  1. At the same time, toast the inside of your split Italian loaves until golden brown
  1. Once your burgers have reached your desired internal temperature, top with cheese and allow 2 minutes to melt onto the patties.
  1. Shingle 6 patties onto each loaf and top with desired condiments.
  1. Place the top half of your loaf onto the assembled burgers and stick 6 sandwich picks across the top, spaced evenly .
  1. Cut your burgers into 12 equal portions and serve immediately.
