Football season is back, which means it's time to cook up some winning snacks for game day. This Hall of Fame appetizer has it all: cheesy, smoky, and a little spicy. All made possible with the help of Melissa's Produce Hatch Chiles

Ingredients

  • 4-5 hatch chile peppers
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese
  • 8 oz pepperjack cheese
  • 3/4 cups heavy cream (could substitute milk)
  • 8 oz cheddar cheese
  • 8 oz Velveeta cheese

Directions

  1. Set smoker to 250°F.
  1. In a cast iron pan, add all the ingredients. Then, place the cast iron skillet in the smoker to cook for about an hour.
  1. Take the cast iron skillet out of the smoker and carefully stir to combine.
  1. Garnish with chopped green chiles and cilantro and serve with your favorite tortilla chip.
  1. Enjoy!
