Ingredients

  • 6 Eggs
  • 1/2 Cup Milk
  • 1/4 Cup Parmesan Cheese, Grated
  • 1 Bunch Parsley
  • 1 Block Cheddar Cheese
  • 2 Pkgs Cream Cheese
  • 2/4 Cup Heavy Cream
  • 6 Chicken Breast
  • 2 Sticks Butter
  • 4 Garlic Cloves, Peeled
  • 6 Bread Rolls

Special Tools

  • Sheet Tray
  • Parchment Paper
  • Pipping Bag
  • Bowl
  • Gloves
  • Tongs

Directions

  1. Preheat your smoker to 250°F.
  1. Begin seasoning your chicken breasts with Pit Boss Sweet Rib Rub.
  1. Once the smoker reaches the proper temperature, place the chicken breasts in your smoker.
  1. Smoke the chicken for 2 hours or until an internal temperature of 165°F is reached.
  1. As the chicken is cooking begin making the cream cheese filling. Leave cream cheese out at room temperature that way it’s easier to pipe. Toss your cream cheese in a bowl and whisk until softened. As your whisking pour in the heavy cream and a tablespoon of Pit Boss GSP Rub. Once everything is mixed well, fill up your piping bag with the cream cheese.
  1. Prepare your egg wash by peeling and chopping up your garlic along with the parsley. Toss that in a bowl along with your eggs, milk, grated parmesan and 2 tablespoons of Pit Boss GSP Rub.
  1. Once your chicken reaches 165°F, take it out and place it in a half aluminum pan and let it rest before you begin shredding it. Shred your chicken and then mix in your Pit Boss Memphis Hickory & Vinegar BBQ Sauce and set aside.
  1. Turn your smoker up to 350°F for your bread bowl. As the smoker gets up to temperature start cutting down the middle of the bread and remember not to cut all the way down. Make sure it’s deep enough to fit your pinkie finger in. Make two more cuts as if you were cutting a pie. After your cuts are all made, begin piping cream cheese into the gaps of the bread.
  1. Prepare egg wash by cracking all six eggs into a bowl and beat them together.
  1. After the bread has been filled with cream cheese, dunk the bread into your egg wash and make sure to coat your bread just enough to where the bread begins to sag. Place your egg washed bread onto a sheet tray with parchment paper and put it into the smoker. Let it cook for 13-15 minutes. Take it out of the smoker and let it cool.
  1. Finally, now that everything is cooked, it is time to assemble. Get the bread and top it with a good amount of your pulled barbecue chicken. Garnish it with a little sour cream, grated cheddar cheese and some green onions.
