You've heard of brisket burnt ends, but get ready to try your hand at these BBQ Sausage Burnt Ends. Made with your favorite sausage and BBQ sauce, this savory snack is braised to perfection on a Pit Boss pellet grill. Even better, this recipe is great to make on the go, whether you're camping, tailgating, or bringing a dish to a backyard barbecue with friends and family.

Ingredients

  • 2 raw rope sausage links
  • 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 2/3 cup Pit Boss Sweet Heat BBQ Sauce

Directions

  1. Preheat your portable Pit Boss grill or smoker to 350°F.
  1. Grill both sausage links until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 155°F.
  1. Remove from the grill and allow to rest for 10 minutes.
  1. Slice sausage into 3/4 inch rounds and add to an aluminum pan.
  1. Add brown sugar, butter, BBQ sauce, and cola into the pan and mix well to coat the sausages.
  1. Place back on the grill, stirring every 4-5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  1. Let rest for 4-5 minutes before serving.
