Ingredients

  • 5 lb. Yukon potatoes
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 qt. heavy cream
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup fresh Horseradish
  • 6-10 oz. shredded white cheddar cheese

Special Tools

  • Oven-safe casserole dish
  • Medium Mixing Bowl

Directions

  1. Preheat your Pit Boss grill or smoker to 350Ā°F.
  1. Toss whole potatoes with oil, salt, and pepper.
  1. Add potatoes to a half-size pan and place on center rack. Allow to cook through, about 45 minutes.
  1. Remove from heat and allow to come to room temperature.
  1. Slice each potato into 1/4 inch thick slices and place back into your pan.
  1. In a mixing bowl, season the heavy cream to taste with salt and pepper, and add your desired amount of Horseradish.
  1. Pour the cream mixture over your sliced potatoes and top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  1. Place potatoes back on your grill and allow to cook another 45 minutes. Once your cream has thickened and the cheese is browned, remove from the grill and allow to rest for 10 minutes before serving.
  1. Enjoy!
