Ingredients

  • 15 Strips of Bacon
  • Smoked Sausage
  • Sharp Cheddar Cheese Chunks
  • 2 Jalapenos

Special Tools

  • Toothpicks

Directions

  1. Preheat your Pit Boss Grill to 300°F
  1. While your grill is preheating, cut your cheese into 1-inch by 1-inch squares.
  1. Next, slice the jalapenos into 1/4-inch round slices, slice the sausage into 1/4-inch round slices, and cut each strip of bacon in half.
  1. Once everything is prepped, place the bacon strips down two at a time in a cross pattern.
  1. Then, lay down a piece of sausage, a chunk of cheese, and a sliced jalapeno onto the crossed bacon strips. Fold the bacon over the layered ingredients, and secure with a toothpick.
  1. Season with Pit Boss Sweet Heat Rub on all sides before placing them directly on the grates of your preheated smoker.
  1. Smoke for about 20 minutes, then transfer “these” to an oven-save container, and smoke for another 25 minutes.
  1. After a total cooking time of 45 minutes, remove “these” from your smoker and let cool.
  1. Serve with a side of BBQ Sauce and enjoy!
