Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Cooked, Ground Chorizo
  • 1 Cup Diced Tomatoes
  • 3 Sliced Jalapenos
  • 2 Bunches of Sliced Green Onion
  • 1/3 Cup Pickled Onions
  • 1 lb. Shredded Cheddar/Mozzarella
  • 1 Bag of Tortilla Chips

Directions

  1. First, preheat your cast iron over your campfire. We recommend suspending the Pit Boss Camp oven over the fire or placing it directly on hot embers.
  1. Line your hot cast iron with butcher paper and prep your ingredients: dice the tomatoes and slice the jalapeno and green onion.
  1. Then begin layering your ingredients in the cast iron camp oven; Layer chips, cheese, chorizo, and veggies until cast iron is full.
  1. Finally, cover the cast iron with a hot lid and place it next to your campfire rotating every 4-5 mins until the cheese has melted.
  1. Carefully remove from heat and enjoy!
