Ingredients

  • 12-16 chicken wing sections
  • 1/2 cup finely-ground espresso coffee beans
  • 1/4 cup dry oregano
  • 1/2 cup paprika
  • 1/4 cup black pepper
  • 2 tbsp cumin
  • 2 Tbsp Garlic Powder
  • 2 tbsp Onion Powder
  • 1/4 cup chili powder
  • 1/4 cup salt
  • 3/4 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 tbsp chipotle powder
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 3 tbsp whole butter

Directions

  1. Preheat your wood pellet grill to 500°F
  1. Prepare your coffee chili rub by combining espresso beans, oregano, paprika, pepper, cumin, garlic, onion powder, chili powder, salt, brown sugar, and chipotle powder in a small bowl.
  1. In a larger bowl, coat your wings in 2 tbsp oil and then season with your homemade coffee chili rub (leaving some rub remaining for after grilling). Mix until evenly coated.
  1. Grill your wings until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F, about 15-18 minutes.
  1. Place the wings in a clean bowl, add more of your homemade rub and butter and toss until evenly coated.
  1. Serve while hot!
