These 3-Layer Monte Cristo Sliders are the perfect combo of sweet and savory, all wrapped up in one must-try sandwich!Ham, turkey, and cheese are packed into King's Hawaiian slider buns to create this double-decker version of the classic. They're fried up on the griddle French toast style to get that delicious golden-brown crust and melty cheese. Top it off with jam and powdered sugar for the ultimate lunchtime or breakfast treat!

Pit Boss Kitchen

  • Dijon Mustard
  • Mayonnaise
  • 6 slices of baked ham
  • 6 slices of turkey
  • 2 cups gruyere cheese (freshly grated)
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 pack of King’s Hawaiian Sweet Slider Buns
  • Raspberry jam (for serving)
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk

  1. Set griddle to medium heat.
  1. In a medium bowl, stir together the eggs, milk, and Pit Boss GSP. This will be our egg wash.
  1. To assemble the sliders, spread the desired amount of dijon mustard on 1 side of the bread and mayo on the other. For each sandwich, layer gruyere cheese, ham, bread, more gruyere cheese, and finally sliced turkey. Close the sandwich up, by pressing down on the sandwich to hold its shape better.
  1. Dredge each side of the bread into the egg wash before placing onto the griddle. Cook each side until golden brown.
  1. Remove from griddle once fully cooked. Cut at a diagonal, top with powdered sugar, serve with your favorite jam and enjoy!
Recipe Note

These sliders can be made on any griddle, but we recommend the Pit Boss 3-Burner Ultimate Lift-Off Griddle.
