These Chicken Pesto Sliders make a great weeknight dinner since they’re easy to pull together and packed with flavor. Chicken, pesto, and mozzarella cheese on King’s Hawaiian Pretzel Slider Buns make the most delicious sliders everyone will love. They make a great addition to any party spread or you could make them ahead of time for a quick lunch

  • 4 chicken thighs
  • Pesto
  • 1 tomato
  • Fresh basil
  • 6 mozzarella slices
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 pack King’s Hawaiian Pretzel Slider Bun


  1. Set griddle to medium high heat.
  1. Remove the skin from the chicken thighs and butterfly. Coat the thighs with extra virgin olive oil, season with Pit Boss Chicken & Poultry, and place on the griddle. Cook on each side until the internal temperature reaches 165°F. Remove from the griddle to cool, then shred.
  1. Build the sliders, starting with the bottom half of the slider buns. Layer on the shredded chicken, pesto, mozzarella, and sliced tomatoes.
  1. Close the sliders up with the top buns, slice, and enjoy!
