Directions
- Remove membrane from ribs (optional).
- Apply mustard as a binder for the rub and spread on ribs.
- Season ribs liberally with Pit Boss Kansas City BBQ Rub.
- Put ribs back in the fridge for 2-4 hours.
- 30 minutes before cooking the ribs, turn the smoker on to 250° F and remove ribs from the
fridge.
- When the smoker has reached 250° F place the ribs in the smoker for 1.5 - 2 hours, when
the rib begins to look dry begin spritzing with apple juice.
- Continue spritzing with apple juice every 30- 45 minutes for the remainder of the cook.
- When the ribs are almost done, apply a light glaze of Pit Boss Memphis BBQ Sauce and continue cooking for 15-30 minutes.
- The ribs are finished when they bend without breaking (about 4.5-5 hours).
