Ingredients


1 tsp Allspice, ground

3 lbs Chicken Wings, split

1/2 tsp Cinnamon, Ground

4 Garlic Cloves, smashed

2 tsp Ginger, grated

1 Habanero Pepper, chopped

2 tbsp Honey

2 tbsp Lemon Juice

1/3 cup lime juice

1/2 tsp Nutmeg, Ground

1/2 cup Olive Oil

1/4 cup Poblano Pepper, chopped

1 tbsp Tamari

2 tsp Thyme, Dried

1/2 cup Yellow Onion, chopped



Cooking Instructions


Take a trip to the islands on your grill with these easy and flavorful Jerk Chicken Wings. The perfect blend of aromatic spices, herbs and peppers, this homemade jerk marinade adds just the right amount of kick and flavor to grilled wings. Let the wings marinate to infuse bold, Caribbean-style flavors then grill them up until perfectly crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside.

Wood Pellet Recommendation

In order to add a bit of smokiness and to bring out the spice in this recipe a bit more (if you’re up for the challenge), we recommend using our Mesquite Hardwood Pellets.

  1. Add chicken to a large resealable plastic bag.
  2. In the bowl of a food processor, add the garlic, onion, ginger, peppers, tamari, honey, lime juice, lemon juice, thyme, allspice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and oil. Process on low for 1 minute, then transfer marinade to the bag. Seal the bag and place in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, up to overnight.
  3. Fire up your Pit Boss pellet grill on SMOKE mode and let it run with lid open for 10 minutes then preheat to 425° F. If using a gas or charcoal grill, set it up for medium-high heat.
  4. Remove wings from the marinade, and discard remaining marinade. Place wings on the grill and cook for 15 to 20 minutes, flipping every 5 minutes, until an internal temperature of 165 F is reached.
  5. Remove wings from the grill and serve warm.
