1 Green Bell Pepper, Sliced

1 Package Hot Dog Bun(s)

1 Package High Quality Ballpark Hot Dog(s)

1 tbsp Olive Oil

1 tsp Pit Boss Beef and Brisket Rub

1 Yellow Bell Pepper, Sliced

1 Yellow Onion, Sliced

Cooking Instructions

I’m sure you’ve had your fill of Chicago and New York style hot dogs. You may have even had a Dodger Dog or two in your day. Well, now’s the time to spice it up and take notes from our friends south of the border. This Fajita Style Mexican Hot Dog recipe combines a crispy skinned, grilled, beefy hot dog with all the fajita toppings you love on a hot dog bun. Serves 4 people.

  1. Start up your Pit Boss. Once it’s fired up, set the temperature to 350°F.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the peppers and onions with the olive oil and Beef and Brisket Rub. Place the vegetables on the mesh grilling basket.
  3. Remove from the grill and assemble the hot dogs. Top the buns with a hot dog and a generous scoop of the onion and pepper mixture. Serve immediately.
