Cooking Instructions

Chili is one of those recipes that gets handed down from generation to generation, especially if you live in a place where it gets cold in the winters. It’s the perfect dish to fill your tummy and warm your spirits. Speaking of spirits, we add a new twist on this old classic by incorporating beer into this classic burger chili recipe. This one uses ground chuck for extra juiciness and flavor. Try it out on your Pit Boss Grill for extra smoky flavor.

Note: It is recommended to use Mesquite Hardwood Pellets with this recipe.

  1. In a pan on a stove top, sauté the diced onions in butter or oil until light yellow. Add in ground chuck and sprinkle with a teaspoon of salt and pepper. Cook until ground chuck is light brown.
  2. In a disposable aluminum pan, mix all the ingredients (including the sautéed ground chuck and onions) thoroughly. Cover tightly with aluminum foil.
  3. Place the aluminum pan on the grill for 30-40 minutes, or until the chili has thickened and is bubbling. Remove from the grill and serve.
