COMPANY WILL REINVEST REVENUE GROWTH INTO THE FUTURE OF THE BUSINESS

PHOENIX, AZ – Dansons, the parent company of the fastest growing brands in the grilling industry with Pit Boss Grills, Louisiana Grills and Country Smokers, as well the emerging SureLock Security Co., Thiessen’s Outdoor Equipment and A-MAZE-N Smokin’ Products brands, is proud to announce that it saw high double-digit growth and significant growth in topline revenue year-over-year from 2020 to 2021. The company’s growth over the last year further solidifies its position as a leader within both the outdoor and cooking industries.

“First and foremost, we feel that God has blessed our company with a phenomenal year,” said Dansons President Jeff Thiessen. “As a family-owned business, we truly believe our greatest assets are our employees. We have been blessed with an amazing team of individuals that are helping drive our thriving business forward. We are excited to use what we have learned in the last year to take the next steps towards taking our company to the next level.”

Dansons is a leading manufacturer of value-engineered, technologically innovative products, including wood pellet, gas, charcoal, and combination-fueled grills, barbeques, smokers and portable grills sold under its Pit Boss, Louisiana Grills and Country Smokers brands. In 2020, Pit Boss, was one of the top-selling brands per unit in the United States and was tabbed by SimilarWeb as the eighth-fastest growing brand in the digital space in the Home and Garden Category. Louisiana Grills, with the release of the Founders, Black Label and SL Series Grills in the last year, has successfully positioned itself as a leading premium brand in the grilling industry. Additionally, within those brands, exists full lines of pellet fuel, cooking accessories, spices and sauces that are available across multiple leading retailers and direct-to-consumer sales and are sold in more than 30 countries worldwide. Each of Dansons’ products are designed in-house by a highly talented team of engineers and category experts.

“Our team here at Dansons has worked hard to establish ourselves as a household name within the pellet grilling industry, a market that is growing exponentially year-over-year,” Thiessen said. “As we see it, this is God’s company. We aren’t going to limit where God is going to take it. Our brands have rapidly been disrupting the grilling industry over the last several years, and we’re looking forward to what drives us forward ahead.”

With the successes of the last year, Dansons is reinvesting its revenue into the future of the business. One of the foremost core elements of the company has been product development, which will continue to be a main area of focus as it continues to grow in 2021. The company is thrilled to expand its business into the griddle space in the Summer of 2021 with the release of the innovative Pit Boss Grills Ultimate Griddle Series. These units are already seeing strong adoption from Dansons’ valued retail partners, which will help further the brand as a leader in the outdoor cooking space.

The company has made also made significant investments to its supply chain to not only serve the needs in the present, but also be able to scale with the business as it continues to grow. This Fall, Dansons will open the country's largest barbecue wood pellet mill and distribution center in Hope, Arkansas. The facility, which will be the crown jewel of the company’s pellet creation and distribution, is 335,000 square feet and sits on 143 acres, and will initially start with three pelleters and a 100,000-ton capacity but has the infrastructure for eventual expansion to 300,000 tons and nine pelleters. The location will also serve as a distribution center for wood pellets as well as wood pellet barbecue grills and will be responsible for creating approximately 50-100 new jobs in the next three years. In addition to this plant, Dansons currently has an operational location in Peebles, Ohio, and is on track to open pellet locations in Thomson, Georgia, and Mollala, Oregon, in the next year.

As a company that sells product to consumers around the world, Dansons is also making serious investments in its global distribution program. With offices, warehouses and distribution points currently in the United States, Canada, the Netherlands and China, Dansons’ international business more than doubled over the last year. To keep pace with the market demand, the company recently doubled the size of its distribution warehouse at its European headquarters in Hedel, Netherlands. In total, the company has gone from 150 employees in July 2020 to almost 500 in June 2021, with aggressive expansion still ahead.
