got copperhead 3 from cabelas in the spring , i live in northern o tario where its cold & this smoker is the bomb , very well built comes up to temp in no time even in -5 celsius, ive smoked beef briskets, turkeys, chicken, fish , pulled pork, steaks, in lower outside temperatures I’ve even cold smoked cheeze it hasn’ t let me down once it performed flawless a little temperature gap but no biggie, I’ve owned bradley & masterbuilt , they both dont even come close to the performance of my copperhead, very good investment next to my weber bbq

Love my Pit Boss 3 Series Wood Pellet Vertical Smoker. Had a Masterbuilt vertical electric, and it worked... kind of. This is a massive step up. The amount of smoke the Pit Boss puts on meat is mind blowing even at the lowest temperatures. My only complaint right now is that it does overheat, But I'm right in the middle of a florida summer, and I'd rather the unit turn itself off than cause damage to itself, or god forbid cause a fire. All in all I'm really happy

Oh, and side note: it only comes with 4 racks. It holds many more but I can't find them anywhere. One rack holds about a pound of jerky, square footage wise that is.
