If you have leftover Tri Tip or steak from the night before, we have got the dish for you! This Easy Shepherd's Pie Recipe is the perfect meal for a busy family on the move. In less than an hour you will have a filling and delicious comfort food experience.
Directions
- Start up your Pit Boss. Once it's fired up, set the temperature to 350°F.
- In the sauce pan, add the butter and flour over medium low heat. Cook the flour and butter for about 1 minute, or until the flour smells toasty. Slowly add in the beef broth, whisking constantly. Cook for 5 minutes, or until the gravy is thick, and then add the Chophouse Steak Rub. Set aside.
- Toss the vegetables and tri-tip with the gravy and divide equally into the ramekins. Top the ramekins with mashed potatoes and grill the shepherd's pies for 10-15 minutes, or until warm all the way through and the filling is bubbling. Remove from the grill and serve immediately.
