Score points with your friends when you contribute our Pig Shots to the game day spread. This appetizer combines sausage, bacon, and cream cheese to create the ultimate snack for the Big Game. Simple to put together and packed with flavor, this dish will have everyone going back for more

Ingredients

  • Johnsonville Sausage
  • 12 Strips Thick Sliced Bacon (or as much needed)
  • 1 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese

  • Toothpicks

Directions

1. Turn on your smoker and set it to 350°F.

2. Start off by cutting the sausage in 1-inch cuts, then cut your bacon into 1/3 of its size.

3. Coat the bacon with brown sugar then wrapping around the sausage. 

4. For the cream cheese filling, mix Pit Boss Smoked Salt & Pepper Rub with the cream cheese. Next, put the cream cheese in a piping bag and start filling the Pig Shots. 

5. Once they are wrapped and filled put them in the smoker for about 40-60 minutes or until the bacon is fully cooked.
