Directions
- Preheat grill to 450°F.
- Trim and cut the venison tenderloins into 1-1.5 oz pieces, for 12 total pieces.
- Brush venison to coat with BBQ sauce as a binder, then season with BBQ rub.
- Wrap 1/2 a piece of bacon around the seasoned venison and a piece of jalapeno. Secure the bacon with a toothpick.
- Grill the bites on the preheated grill, rotating often to crisp the bacon on all sides. If a rarer internal temperature is desired, grill over the open sear plate flame until just the bacon is crip. Once done, allow to rest 5-7 minutes before serving.
