Ingredients

  • 2 lb. fresh strawberries, quartered
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp corn starch
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 lb. chocolate chip cookie dough, room temperature

Special Tools

  • Mixing Bowls
  • Baking Pan

Directions

  1. In a mixing bowl, mix the strawberries, sugar, cornstarch, and vanilla extract until mixture no longer looks dry.
  1. Place mixture in a baking pan or half-size aluminum pan.
  1. Set your wood pellet grill to 350°F and place your pan on the center rack, once preheated.
  1. Bake for approximately 20-25 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.
  1. Remove the pan from your grill. The mixture will seem undercooked, which is to be expected.
  1. Evenly place chunks of cookie dough over the top of the mixture.
  1. Place pan back on center rack of the grill and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes or until cookie dough is baked and golden brown.
  1. Remove from the grill and allow to sit for 15 minutes before serving.
