Ingredients

  • 1 box elbow noodles
  • 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted Butter
  • 1 tablespoon Pit Boss Applewood Bacon Seasoning
  • 1 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 cup whole milk, warm
  • 4 strips cooked bacon, crumbled
  • Green onions, sliced, optional

Directions

  • Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain.
  • In a skillet, melt the butter over medium low heat.
  • When the butter is melted, whisk in the flour and cook until the mixture smells toasty and looks like wet sandy, about two minutes.
  • Slowly pour in the milk, whisking constantly, and let cook for 5 minutes until thickened, whisking constantly.
  • Remove from heat and whisk in the Limited-Edition Pit Boss Bourbon Apple Rub and shredded cheddar cheese until you have a smooth cheese sauce.
  • Turn your Pit Boss Grill onto the smoke cycle and smoke your macaroni and cheese for 25 minutes.
  • Remove from grill, top with green onions if desired, and serve.
