Directions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain.
- In a skillet, melt the butter over medium low heat.
- When the butter is melted, whisk in the flour and cook until the mixture smells toasty and looks like wet sandy, about two minutes.
- Slowly pour in the milk, whisking constantly, and let cook for 5 minutes until thickened, whisking constantly.
- Remove from heat and whisk in the Limited-Edition Pit Boss Bourbon Apple Rub and shredded cheddar cheese until you have a smooth cheese sauce.
- Turn your Pit Boss Grill onto the smoke cycle and smoke your macaroni and cheese for 25 minutes.
- Remove from grill, top with green onions if desired, and serve.
