Maple Habanero Wings

When you can't decide whether you want sweet or spicy — have 'em both! With this quick and easy Maple Habanero Grilled Wing recipe, you'll have the best of both worlds. Easily customizable, you can play around with the ratio of sweet and spicy with the maple syrup, or choose your preferred wing sauce to make it your own. Great for game days, tailgates, backyard barbecues, and more! 

Ingredients

  • 12-16 chicken wing sections
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Pit Boss GSP Rub
  • 2 tbsp habanero hot sauce
  • 3 tbsp whole butter, softened
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup

Directions

  • Preheat your Pit Boss wood pellet grill to 500°F
  • In a bowl, evenly coat the wings with 2 tbsp of oil. Then, season with an all-purpose BBQ rub and mix until coated.
  • Grill the wings until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F, about 15-18 minutes.
  • Remove the wings from the grill and place them in a clean bowl before adding the hot sauce, butter, and maple syrup. Toss until evenly coated.
  • Serve while hot, and enjoy!
