Directions
- First, preheat your Pit Boss grill or smoker to 275°F
- Next, season each chicken tender with Pit Boss GSP Rub (or garlic, salt, and pepper) and place 1/2 a jalapeño on top of the chicken tender.
- Then, wrap a strip of bacon around both the chicken tender and the jalapeño, securing the bacon with a half toothpick on each side.
- Next, season the outside of each bacon-wrapped popper with Pit Boss Maple Chipotle Rub.
- Once all of the poppers have been seasoned, place them on the bottom rack of your grill and rotate every 5-6 minutes until the bacon becomes crispy and an internal temperature of 165°F has been reached.
- Once your poppers hit the correct internal temperature, turn the grill off, brush them with BBQ sauce, and allow them to sit inside the grill for about 10 minutes.
- Finally, take the poppers from the grill, remove the toothpicks, and enjoy!
