Grilled Watermelon

This sweet and savory recipe is easy to throw together, and perfect for enjoying with friends and family.

Great as an appetizer, or as a side dish, these grilled watermelon slices will be your new go-to for the summer months.

Fresh watermelon from Melissa's Produce.

Ingredients

  • A Whole Watermelon
  • Olive Oil (If Needed To Cook Watermelon)
  • 2-3 Oz Crumbled Feta Cheese
  • Pit Boss GSP Rub
  • Fig Balsamic Vinaigrette Glaze

Directions

  • Let's get our smoker turned on and set to 350°F.
  • While the smoker is getting hot, let’s get our watermelon prepped.
  • Get half a watermelon, then cut into quarters with the thickness of being ½ an inch.
  • Before tossing onto the smoker with the sear plate open, sprinkle Pit Boss GSP Rub onto our watermelon. Grill on each side for 3 minutes, then remove from grill to rest.
  • Garnish with our glaze and feta cheese. Last thing to do is to take a bite and enjoy.
