This quick and easy grilled skirt steak recipe combines our Pit Boss Smoked Salt & Pepper Rub with garlic and mustard for a juicy and tangy plate of beef. Combine with a salad or potato and veggies for a fast, weeknight dinner.

People love skirt steak because not only do they cook quickly, they soak marinades really well so the steak just turns out tender with a nice crust after a quick sear.

Ingredients

  • 2 Cloves Garlic, Chopped
  • 2 Tbsp Mustard, Grainy
  • 2 Tbsp Pit Boss Smoked Salt & Pepper Rub
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 Lemon, Juice
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 Pounds Skirt Steak, Trimmed

Directions

  • In a small bowl, mix together the Pit Boss Smoked Salt & Pepper Rub, oil, garlic, lemon juice, and Worcestershire. Generously rub the mixture all over the skirt steak and allow to marinate for 45 minutes.
  • Start up your Pit Boss on smoke. Once it's fired up, set the temperature to 400°F.
  • Grill the skirt steaks for 3-5 minutes on each side or until the steak is done to the desired degree of doneness.
  • Remove the steaks from the grill and allow to rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
