Directions
- Fill a large pot with water and bring to a boil over high heat. While waiting, prepare a large mixing bowl with cold water and ice cubes.
- Blanch the broccolini for 3-4 minutes in boiling water, then ‘shock’ them by placing immediately in ice water to stop the cooking and preserve their green color.
- Once cooled, remove the broccolini from the ice water and pat dry with a towel.
- In a blender, add ginger, vinegar, mustard, sesame oil, and salt. Turn blender on and slowly turn speed to high, then add the canola oil slowly until completely incorporated.
- Preheat pellet grill to 400°F
- In a bowl, toss broccolini in enough of your ginger sauce to evenly coat them.
- Evenly place the marinated broccolini on the lower grill grate and char to desired doneness. Option to open your grill’s seat plate for direct flame grilling.
- Remove from grill and serve with remaining sauce and top with toasted sesame seeds.
