Directions
- First, shuck the oysters using an oyster knife and set aside.
- Next, preheat the Pit Boss to 250°F
- Meanwhile, add a teaspoon of softened butter to 4 of the oysters, creamed spinach to another 4 oysters, and leave the remaining 4 oysters plain.
- Once your Pit Boss is preheated, place all the oysters on the top rack of your grill and grill for 15-20 mins.
- Next, remove the oysters from the grill, and garnish 3 ways:
- Top the buttered oysters with Pit Boss Maple Chipotle Rub, lime juice, and chopped parsley for our take on a “Traditional” oyster.
- Top the creamed spinach oysters with toasted breadcrumbs for a classic "Rockefeller" oyster.
- Top the remaining plain oysters with oyster sauce, wasabi oil, sesame seeds and green onions for an "Asian-Inspired" twist.
