  • 4 minutes Prep Time
  • 5 minutes Cook Time

Griddling your favorite restaurant-quality meals has never been so easy! Let the WALTWINS show you how it's done with their quick and simple seared Ahi Tuna Steak recipe, all made on the Pit Boss gas griddle with minimal ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 2 sushi-grade tuna steaks
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 5 tbsp soy sauce
  • Sesame seeds

Directions

  • Preheat your flat top gas griddle to high heat.
  • Combine 2 tsp sesame oil and 5 tbsp of soy sauce in a shallow bowl or ziploc bag. Add the tuna steaks and allow to marinate for 1-2 minutes, making sure all sides are coated in the marinade.
  • Pour sesame seeds onto a plate. Press the marinated tuna steaks into the sesame seeds to cover all sides.
  • Place the tuna on the preheated griddle surface. Cook until you see the edges turn tan, then flip and cook the other side.
  • Slice, serve, and enjoy with more soy sauce or your favorite dipping sauce!

Recipe Note

Please ensure you are griddling with sushi-grade tuna.
