  • 30 minutes Cook Time

If you have leftover Tri Tip or steak from the night before, we have got the dish for you! This Easy Shepherd's Pie Recipe is the perfect meal for a busy family on the move. In less than an hour you will have a filling and delicious comfort food experience.

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Beef Broth
  • 2 Tbsp Chophouse Steak Rub
  • 1 cup Mashed Potatoes, Prepared
  • 2 cups mixed frozen Vegetables, Thawed
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted Butter
  • 2 tablespoons Flour
  • 2 cups Tri-Tip, Diced

Directions

  • Start up your Pit Boss. Once it's fired up, set the temperature to 350°F.
  • In the sauce pan, add the butter and flour over medium low heat. Cook the flour and butter for about 1 minute, or until the flour smells toasty. Slowly add in the beef broth, whisking constantly. Cook for 5 minutes, or until the gravy is thick, and then add the Chophouse Steak Rub. Set aside.
  • Toss the vegetables and tri-tip with the gravy and divide equally into the ramekins. Top the ramekins with mashed potatoes and grill the shepherd's pies for 10-15 minutes, or until warm all the way through and the filling is bubbling. Remove from the grill and serve immediately.
