Cold Smoked Granola

  • 5 Servings
  • 10 minutes Prep Time
  • 10 minutes Cook Time

You'll be surprised at how easy it is to add a kiss of wood-fired flavor to your favorite granola! Our Maple Blend pellets offer a subtly smoky flavor to the granola that we know you're going to love. Add it to yogurt parfaits, baked goods, cereal, and more to add another layer of flavor.

❄ Cooking Method: This recipe is done by cold smoking, which is the perfect way to add that precious wood-fired flavor to your food without grilling or cooking. We've detailed how to achieve the perfect cold smoke with a pellet smoke tube, but you could also use a side smoker attached to your grill. Just remember to never let your grill (or side smoker) exceed 80°F while smoking.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. granola of choice

Directions

  • Light a smoke tube and let burn until the flame goes out and starts to smoke. This should take around 10 minutes.
  • Place your favorite granola in a shallow pan and spread out evenly.
  • Without turning your grill on, place your smoke tube on the lower shelf.
  • Then, place your pan of granola on the opposite side of the upper shelf and close lid. Let smoke for 5-10 minutes. Note: Allow to smoke for longer or shorter depending on how much added smoke flavor you like
  • Pair it with yogurt, baked goods, or cereal!
