Ingredients

  • 12-16 chicken wing sections
  • 1/2 cup finely-ground espresso coffee beans
  • 1/4 cup dry oregano
  • 1/2 cup paprika
  • 1/4 cup black pepper
  • 2 tbsp cumin
  • 2 Tbsp Garlic Powder
  • 2 tbsp Onion Powder
  • 1/4 cup chili powder
  • 1/4 cup salt
  • 3/4 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 tbsp chipotle powder
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 3 tbsp whole butter

Directions

  • Preheat your wood pellet grill to 500°F
  • Prepare your coffee chili rub by combining espresso beans, oregano, paprika, pepper, cumin, garlic, onion powder, chili powder, salt, brown sugar, and chipotle powder in a small bowl.
  • In a larger bowl, coat your wings in 2 tbsp oil and then season with your homemade coffee chili rub (leaving some rub remaining for after grilling). Mix until evenly coated.
  • Grill your wings until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F, about 15-18 minutes.
  • Place the wings in a clean bowl, add more of your homemade rub and butter and toss until evenly coated.
  • Serve while hot!
