Coffee Chili Wings

Calling all coffee lovers! If you like espresso and subtle wood-fired flavor, this easy-to-follow Coffee Chili Wing recipe is for you. This easy and delicious recipe features a homemade coffee chili rub that tastes great on wings, ribs, steaks, and more! You have to try it out for yourself.

Ingredients

  • 12-16 chicken wing sections
  • 1/2 cup finely-ground espresso coffee beans
  • 1/4 cup dry oregano
  • 1/2 cup paprika
  • 1/4 cup black pepper
  • 2 tbsp cumin
  • 2 tbsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp onion powder
  • 1/4 cup chili powder
  • 1/4 cup salt
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp chipotle powder
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 3 tbsp whole butter

Directions

  • Preheat your wood pellet grill to 500°F
  • Prepare your coffee chili rub by combining the finely ground espresso beans, oregano, paprika, pepper, cumin, garlic, onion powder, chili powder, salt, brown sugar, and chipotle powder in a small bowl.
  • In a larger bowl, coat your wings in 2 tbsp of oil, season with your homemade coffee chili rub, and mix until evenly coated. Set some of your homemade rub aside for after the wings are cooked.
  • Grill your wings until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F, about 15-18 minutes.
  • Place the wings in a clean bowl, top with more homemade rub and butter, and toss until evenly coated.
  • Serve while they're hot and enjoy!
