Bringing people together with BBQ is truly magical, especially when it's paired with an ice-cold Coca-Cola. In this recipe, racks of pork ribs are marinated for 24 hours, then seasoned with Pit Boss Maple Chipotle, and smoked on the Pit Boss.

Ingredients

  • 12 Cans of Coca-Cola (12 oz)
  • 3 Cups Soy Sauce
  • 3 Cups Worcestershire
  • 3/4 Cup Liquid Smoke
  • 2 Tbsp Granulated Onion
  • 2 Tbsp Granulated Garlic

Directions

  • Mix together the Coca-Cola, soy sauce, Worcestershire, Liquid Smoke, granulated onion, and granulated garlic in a large container to create a marinade.
  • Place the pork ribs in the marinade and allow to sit for at least 8 hours. We recommend marinating for 24 hours for the best results.
  • Remove the ribs from the marinade and allow to air dry before seasoning. Once the ribs are dry, season with Pit Boss Maple Chipotle and raw sugar on all sides.
  • Preheat your Pit Boss smoker to 275-300°F, then place the ribs directly on the grill grates and smoke for 1 hour.
  • After an hour of cooking, baste with melted butter and cook for another hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  • Remove the ribs from the smoker and place them into an aluminum foil pan. Baste with butter, then add one can of Coca-Cola to the pan. Cover the pan with foil and place it back onto the smoker for 1 1/2 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 195°F.
  • Remove the ribs from the pan and place them back onto the smoker for about 20 mins to create a bark.
  • Remove from the smoker one final time, allow to rest, slice, and enjoy!
