Sweet & Salty Bacon-Wrapped Weenies
Game Day has never been so easy! Sweet, spicy, and smoky, these bacon-wrapped weenies are sure to impress even the pickiest of attendees. Just pop them in your Pit Boss 20 minutes before the Big Game and you'll have a perfect appetizer, every time.
Ingredients
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 Tsp Cayenne Pepper
1/4 tsp garlic powder
Maple syrup
Lit'l Smokies
Bacon
Tools
Ziploc Bag
Toothpicks
Directions
First, preheat your pellet grill to 400°F.
In a bowl, combine brown sugar, cayenne pepper, and garlic powder. Pour into a Ziploc back.
Add lit'l smokies to the bag with a little maple syrup (to help the sugar mixture stick) and shake to coat them entirely.
On a cutting board, cut your strip of bacon into thirds and wrap each smokie with a piece of bacon, securing with a toothpick through the middle.
Place your smokies on the grill at 400°F until the bacon begins to crisp up. Flip every ten minutes to cook evenly.
Remove from smoker, and enjoy!
Recipe Note
Turn your weenies every 10 minutes to ensure the bacon cooks evenly on all sides.
