Thanksgiving turkey doesn’t get any easier than this! Treat your family to a mouthwatering Shady Brook Farms® Turketta roast. Give it the Boss treatment and smoke it until the bacon is crisp and filled with wood-fired goodness. The perfect alternative to cooking a whole turkey this season!  

What is a Turketta? 

A Turketta is a boneless turkey breast coated in savory seasoning and wrapped in bacon. It can be smoked, grilled, barbecued, or roasted.  

Wood Pellet Recommendation 

For those tart, cranberry-like Thanksgiving flavors, try out our Cherry Hardwood pellets.  

  1. Fire up your Pit Boss pellet grill on SMOKE mode and let it run with lid open for 10 minutes then preheat to 250°F. If using a gas or charcoal grill, set it up for low, indirect heat.
  2. Place the Turketta directly on the grill grate and smoke for 2½ to 3 hours, or until an internal temperature of 165°F is reached.
