1/2 Cup Barbecue Sauce

4 Brioche Burger Buns

4 Slices Brisket

1 LBS Ground Beef

8 Onion Rings

4 Tablespoons Pit Boss Sweet Rib Rub

4 Slices Smoked Guoda Cheese, Sliced

So you spent yesterday smoking a wonderful brisket cut over your Pit Boss Pellet Grill and are now left looking for something creative to do with the leftover meat? One delicious (and filling) option is to make a Brisket Burger worthy of the legendary town from which this recipe is derived from. Kansas City BBQ is known for its bold, sweet and savory flavors and this dish is no different.

This is one filling meal for the person that just can’t seem to get enough meat. Whether you just finished a rough leg day workout at the gym or returned from a long day of work out in the field, this is one great reward that is sure to satisfy your hunger pangs.

Note: It is recommended to use Competition Hardwood Pellets with this recipe.

This recipe uses the Pit Boss Sweet Rib Rub.

For perfectly formed burger patties, try the Pit Boss 3 in 1 Burger Press

  1. In a large bowl, sprinkle the Pit Boss Sweet Rib Rub over the ground beef and mix well to combine. Shape the ground beef into 4 patties and set aside.
  2. Preheat your Pit Boss Grill to 350°F. Grill your burgers for 8-10 minutes, or until desired degree of doneness.
  3. Halfway through cooking, top each burger patty with a slice of smoked gouda cheese.
  4. Remove the burgers from the grill and assemble the burgers. Place each burger on a bun and top with 2 tablespoons of barbecue sauce, 2 onion rings and a slice of brisket, then serve and enjoy!
