2 Teaspoon Pit Boss Applewood Bacon Seasoning

1 Pack Cheddar Cheese, Shredded

1 Pack Cream Cheese, Softened

Cut in Half Lengthwise, Destemmed, Deveined and Deseeded Jalapeno Peppers

8 Strips Smoked Applewood Bacon, Cut in Half



Cooking Instructions


These grilled jalapeno poppers with applewood bacon are a great way to spice up your usual game day menu. It’s the perfect appetizer to serve before baby back ribs , as the bacon flavor primes the taste buds for the pork main event. And, you can never go wrong serving these with a slice or two of pizza fresh off the Pit Boss Wood Pellet Grill.

Whatever dish you choose, these Applewood Bacon Jalapeno Poppers with be a hit with your guests and may just bring a few uninvited guests over after word spreads.

Note: This recipe pairs great with either Hickory or Apple Hardwood Pellets !

  1. In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, Applewood Bacon seasoning and cheddar cheese. Mix until completely combined.
  2. Using a spoon, fill the peppers with the cream cheese mixture. Wrap each pepper with a half slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick. Repeat until all jalapeno poppers are finished.
  3. Preheat your Pit Boss Grill to 400°F. Place your jalapeno poppers on the grill basket and grill for 15-20 minutes, or until the bacon is cooked and crispy.
  4. Serve and enjoy!
