Do you love the flavor of buffalo wings, but would rather do without the oily mess from the sauce? This recipe forgoes the sauce in favor of a tangy and spicy buffalo style dry rub. Grilled to perfection on the Pit Boss Pellet Grill at 350°F these Buffalo Wing Chicken Drumsticks are perfect for any game day tailgating party.

How to Make Buffalo Chicken Drumsticks?

With the Pit Boss Wing Rack , it’s easy to coat your wings with a rub and not lose any of it on the grill. By hanging the drumsticks on the rack, the flavor stays right where it belongs. Simply fire up your pellet grill to 350°F and let them cook for about 30 minutes or so until the drumsticks reach 165°F internal temperature.

Note: It is recommended to use Classic Hardwood Pellets with this recipe.

  1. Preheat your Grill to 350 degrees F.
  2. Generously sprinkle the Buffalo Wing Rub all over the drumsticks. Hang each drumstick by the bone on the Wing Rack. Place in the for about 30 minutes.
  3. Serve hot with celery and carrot sticks. Enjoy!

For smokier wings, smoke at 225°F until the wings reach 155°F internal temp. Then grill at 400°F until they reach 165°F for crispy skin.
