The first step is to create these delicious homemade blueberry pancakes with blueberry sauce. How to Make Blueberry Pancake Sauce


To make blueberry sauce, heat your cast iron pan in the for about 10 minutes. Pour blueberries in a cast iron pan and heat for a couple of minutes. Start stirring/crushing the blueberries and add sugar. Mix until the sugar has dissolved, and the blueberries are mashed to your liking.

Note: It is recommended to use Apple Hardwood Pellets with this recipe.

  1. Preheat your Grill to 350°F. Place the cast iron griddle on the grates of your grill.
  2. In a large bowl, pour water, pancake mix and 1/2 cup of the blueberries and mix until combined.
  3. Pour the batter onto the griddle in 4 equal parts. Cook with the lid closed for about 6 minutes, or until the edges of the pancakes are slightly cooked. Flip each pancake and continue cooking for another 4 minutes.
  4. Pour the hot blueberry sauce over your freshly cooked pancakes and enjoy!
