Ingredients

3 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts

8-10 slices cheese of choice

1/2 cup Chicken Broth

Pickled Jalapeños

1 tsp Pit Boss Smoked Infused Sweet Mesquite Jalapeno Sea Salt

1/2 cup Salsa Verde

1 package slider buns

3 tablespoons Sweet Heat Rub

Cooking Instructions

Make these Pulled Chicken Jalapeno Sliders for your next game day or tailgating party, and you’ll be the star of the day. This appetizer is easy to prepare, delicious and packs just a little kick to awaken the palette and keep things interesting.

  1. Add the chicken breasts, chicken broth, and salsa verde to a disposable aluminum foil pan. Season everything generously with Sweet Heat and 1 tsp of Pit Boss Smoked Infused Sweet Mesquite Jalapeno Sea Salt. Cover tightly with aluminum foil.
  2. Fire up your Pit Boss Grill and set the temperature to 275°F. Place the aluminum foil pan on the grill and cook for 3-4 hours, or until the chicken is completely cooked (165°F internal temperature), tender, and falling apart. Remove from the grill and let cool slightly.
  3. Shred the chicken with the meat claws and toss with the Sweet Heat rub. Then, build the sliders: top the slider buns with a scoop of the pulled chicken, a slice cheese, and a few slices of pickled jalapeños. Serve immediately.
