Ingredients


2 lbs Chicken, Wing

1 tsp Garlic, Minced

1 tsp Ginger, Fresh

1 tsp Chopped Green Onion

1/2 cup Hoisin Sauce

1 tsp Honey

2 tsp Rice Vinegar

2 tsp Sesame Oil

1 tsp Sesame Seeds

1 tsp Soy Sauce

1 Cup Water, Boiling



Cooking Instructions


  1. Add all ingredients except wings and sesame seeds to a mixing bowl and whisk to incorporate. Add wings to a resealable plastic bag and pour marinade over. Allow marinating for at least 2 hours up to overnight. Remove wings from bag, reserving marinade.

  2. Preheat grill to 300 degrees. Place wings in a grilling basket and cook for 1 hour or until they reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees.

  3. While wings are cooking, pour reserved marinade into a small saucepan and add rice wine vinegar. Over high heat, bring to a boil while whisking often, and reduce by 1/3, or about 10 minutes. Set aside.

  4. Brush wings with reduced sauce and allow to cook for 5-10 more minutes or until glaze has set. Remove from smoker, sprinkle with sesame seeds, allow to rest for 5 minutes, and serve.
