Learn how to make Brisket Burnt Ends with this simple recipe that uses a Georgia style mustard-based BBQ sauce. These burnt ends make a great appetizer for a game day party. Fire this one up in the morning and you should have them ready to go for the afternoon kick off.

How to Make Brisket Burnt Ends?

It starts with smoking the Brisket Point for 250°F until it reaches an internal temperature of 190°F. Cut the brisket into cubes, place in a roasting pan and mix with seasonings and your favorite BBQ sauce. Then place back on the grill for another 2 hours. Delicious!

How to Cut Brisket Burnt Ends

If you’re cooking a full brisket, be sure to separate the point end from the flat after it has finished cooking. Then cut long 1-inch thick strips against the grain of the meat. Finally cut these strips into even cubes.

Note: It is recommended to use Classic Hardwood Pellets with the recipe.

This recipe uses Chop House Steak Rub Seasoning.

  1. Turn your grill to ''smoke'' mode, let the fire catch and then set to 250°F.
  2. Place your brisket on the grates, cook for 6 to 7 hours or until the internal temperature reaches 190°F
  3. Remove from the grill and cut into 1-inch cubes. Toss brisket cubes with seasoning and your favorite BBQ sauce into a pan.
  4. Place the pan in the grill for 2 hours, stirring half-way through.
