Ingredients


2 Tsp Baking Powder

2 Cups Buttermilk, Low Fat

1/2 Cup Cornmeal, Yellow

2 Egg

1 1/2 Cups Flour, All-Purpose

16 oz Pimento Cheese Spread

2 Tbsp Pit Boss Bacon Cheddar Seasoning

1/4 Cup Sugar



Cooking Instructions


  1. Preheat the grill to 350F. Place a cast iron skillet in the grill to preheat.

  2. In a bowl, mix together the eggs, buttermilk, Bacon Cheddar Seasoning, and pimento cheese spread. Add in the sugar, baking powder, cornmeal and flour. Mix until well combined.

  3. Remove the cast iron skillet from the grill, grease it, and add the cornbread batter. Grill for 25-30 minutes, or until the cornbread is golden and pulling away from the edges of the skillet.
