Simply turn a dial and start up the Pit Boss 820 Deluxe Pellet Grill. You’ll be able to bake a pizza, smoke up ribs or sear a steak with the delicious flavor infused by all-natural hardwood pellets. With a wide range of cooking temperatures at your fingertips (180°F to 500°F), you can utilize the digital control board to precisely cook up whatever’s on the menu. With the amply sized cooking space, steel shelf and serving tray, you’ll have plenty of room for prepping, cooking and plating your food. The fan forced convection seals in meat juices while eliminating the need for a rotisserie and the bottle opener, copper finished chimney cap and hanging hooks for barbecue accessories polish off the look with practical designs.

I got this grill at a great price on sale, for the most part it's been a great grill. Only one complaint is for long cooks there is a large temp swing, roughly -15 to +40. It goes through cycles where it cools off and it's like it dumps a bunch of pellets to catch back up and gets real hot. Got to keep an eye on it for long cooks. Every other scenario it's been great.

I bought my 820D around Memorial Day this year, it has been the best purchase I’ve made in years. It is hands down the best grill I’ve ever bought. It’s simple to use and that wood flavor is unrivaled. I haven’t had a single issue with mine and I would recommend this to anyone who asks

The 820 deluxe is awesome. Does everything I need it to do and more. I smoked a sausage fatty, hamburgers, and baby back ribs. I’ve had this grill for one week so far so good. Smoking made easy.

This grill is simply amazing. Many people told me to get the Trager and I honestly was about too. But my wife wouldn’t sign off on spending 700 bucks. And rightfully so. So I did some more research and found Pit Boss! This is solid, it feel nice, heavy closing lid, great hopper feed, and no issues so far. I’ve read that many people have some inconsistencies in their temps but it’s mostly to do with how they operate. If you switch back and forth between multiple temps, it will automatically feed wood to the fire for 2.5 mins and cause a spike in smoke or temp. So to avoid this when you are switch from smoke to a higher temp, move your meat to the upper shelf.
